I’m Duke, I’m from England and I’m a big consumer of most things: technology, movies, games and I love to make concept art.
I think it was mostly not knowing what I didn’t know. Getting frustrated when things weren’t working out and not having the understanding to know why.
I didn’t feel like university did me justice and I had tried other courses where you’re in a class of several people but it wasn’t an environment I worked well in, So I looked around for 1:1 classes and after I spoke with Chris I realised the vision he had for how students are taught at CGVerse was the exact kind of methods of teaching I was after.
I think the thing that helped the most was Adams dryness. If I was making mistakes he would call me out, He would remind me when I was getting lost in the sauce and sit there and bring me back to the fundis.

Protect what is important
Cyberpunk crime scene.
Incredible.

Valley of Giants
Snow giant rock knights, dark souls (my fav piece ever)
Go in completely with an open mind, Adam will show you his kinda weird blender layout but ultimately he has sifted through (and im sure this is the same with all the incredible tutors) thousands of hours of tutorials and condensed the most important part into the course time. They really teach you how to fish.
Going to work on personal projects and try to get into the industry as a concept artist. Play games, collect handhelds. The Switch 2 got announced and I managed to get a preorder, gonna travel a little bit. Crypto is crashing along with the US economy so might need to lay low a little, the world is going to shit! Also I feel like I made friends with Chris and Adam so keep annoying them is a must.
