My name is Otto Metzger and I am a digital artist currently working as a prop and character modeler at Ruthless Games based in Bulgaria. When I was 16 my father bought me my first Wacom tablet and I have been obsessed with digital art since. My dream is to contribute some artwork to Magic the Gathering, and so much of my inspiration comes from the work done by Wizards of the Coast artists.

I resisted 3D for a long time. However, I finally took the dive a few years ago, learning ZBrush, Maya, Substance Painter, and a few other programs. Since this art mentorship, I have fully embraced Blender 3D.
That is difficult to say as I feel my mentors helped me to improve across many different areas from my understanding of composition to lighting and color to more efficient modeling methods.

My mentors, Adam Isailovic and Christopher Schiefer really went above and beyond to ensure that I achieved my goals. They were always ready to answer my questions or lend a hand. In addition to their helpfulness, they are of course exceptionally skilled artists with an amazing breadth of artistic and technical knowledge.
I never felt like just another customer. They did not simply move on once the art mentorship ended. Furthermore, they take an honest interest in their students, an interest that goes far beyond a simple transaction. I cannot recommend the program enough. But, my ultimate recommendation would be for anyone interested to simply take a look at my environment concept art abilities before I began the program and afterward. The results speak for themselves.
I will continue to push myself in the hopes that I can one day land a commission as an artist for Wizards of the Coast.
